Healthcare Post-Interview Suggestions

Healthcare Post-Interview Suggestions

Even after the interview, there are ways you can set yourself apart from other nurses/aides.

1.) Send a thank you email

Even if you verbally show gratitude at the end of your interview, sending an additional “thank you” email can work wonders.

Not only will this make your nurse recruiter feel valued, but this easy gesture will show the interviewer that you simply are serious about your interest.

The best time to send your thank you email is 24 hours after your interview.

 2.) Follow up

It’s beneficial to keep in mind that you are one of many nurses or aides interested in the position.

A follow up email, on the status of your application, can help to stay you fresh within the mind of your interviewer, and set you aside from other applicants who may appear less determined.

The best time for this follow-up email is 1 week after your interview if you haven’t heard anything.

Just as the proverbial squeaky hinge gets oiled, the attentive nurse/aide gets a swift resolution.
